After previously showing you the upcoming colorways of the Nike Air Safari Vintage, we now preview the first colors of the Air Max 1 to come next season.

Next to a nice tonal dynamic blue version and a summit white/shaded blue version, a nice white/off white play is also offered. The sneaker will be coming to stores in the coming weeks as part of the Nike Fall 2012 Collection. Look out at select Nike retailers, as well as Overkill.

It started with an architecture competition in 2002. Now, 10 years later, the winning design for the new CCTV headquarters in Beijing by architect Rem Koolhaas, has finally been completed. The outcome is obviously very impressive. Seeing a 473,000 square meter structure with this form in the middle of a city can only turn heads. Unreal, futuristic, but actually now.

Sony Pictures has hired none other than Aaron Sorkin to write the screenplay and adaptation of Walter Isaacson’s bestselling book ‘Steve Jobs’. Many of you might have seen Ashton Kutcher running around town in his Steve Jobs outfit, but whatever he is filming at the moment, has nothing to do with this official adaptation. Sorkin was also responsible for adapting the book ‘The Accidental Billionaires’, which becoma on the big screen ‘The Social Network’. He won an Oscar for that in fact. (Via Variety)

The Nike Air Safari and new Lunar Safari are strong stories in the upcoming Nike Fall 2012 Collection. Today we take a look at the Nike Air Safari Vintage. The sneaker will drop next season in overall 4 colorways, inspired by the iconic classic and with a proper vintage treatment on the entire upper.

After already having presented the Carhartt Heritage Fall/Winter 2012 Lookbook, we move on today and take a closer look at the mainline of the brand. Carhartt has been celebrating a strong comeback these recent years, due to a general heritage trend, but also strong collaborations, mainly in the Japanese market. After all they produce still today quality goods with decent prices and therefore we are not complaining.

Strong accent colors and patterns that we have seen before in collaborations and the heritage line, now also end up in the mainline. We really like the new outerwear, the patterned shirts, and of course Carhartt classics in new colors and patterns. All in all a well balanced collection, just like we are used to see from Carhartt WIP.

After Poworama, Colorama Graff, Nubuckorama, Discorama and Blockorama, Pierre Hardy presents his latest limited edition sneaker for Summer 2012 – the Dapperama.

As usual the French designer keeps it colorful on these and this time he draws influence from the golf sport and hip hop. Next to suede accents in multiple colors on the white leather upper of the sneaker, the fringes are a nice finishing touch.

As usual, these are limited to 500 pairs worldwide and they will release at Pierre Hardy stores and retailers June 2012.

Sneaker customizer Nash Money created one heck of a hybrid shoe for the Sole DXB Sneaker Summit that just went down in Dubai. The shoe created? A visvim x New Balance 1500 Encap hybrid. There’s some really awesome details here from the “Majiis” fabric skirt, to the beads used on the tassles, but the fusing of the sole unit to the visvim FBT is what really makes our eyes pop out of our head.

Celebrating 60 years of British fashion and of course also in anticipation of the upcoming Olympic Games in London, Royal Mail will be releasing a series of Fashion Designer Stamps. as reported earlier this week by Selectism. Featured designers are Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Hardy Amies, Norman Hartnell, Granny Takes a Trip, Ossie Clark, Tommy Nutter, Jean Muir, Zandra Rhodes and Paul Smith.

In an interesting new collaboration, Converse Japan has teamed up with New Era. Taking the All Star Hi and the New Era 59Fifty has inspiration, the outcoming high top sneaker is as classic and clean as it can get. The sneaker features both the Converse and the New Era logo embroidered on the upper. Look out for a release in Japan in July 2012.
